Bruno visit!
Monday, the 9th, our class went to a company called Bruno Independent Living Aids, Inc. Bruno is a company that builds devices that assist disabled and elderly people. We went to their main office in Oconomowoc, WI to talk to some of the people that worked there and to tour one of their plants. Bill Belson is one of the people we talked to. He is the Director of Engineering at Bruno. Belson explained what Bruno was all about and answered any of our questions about the specifics of Bruno and their products. Another person we talked to was named Paul Valentine. Valentine is the Assembly Manager at Bruno. He gave us a tour of one of the Plants and explained all of the processes that go on there.
During the visit, I learned a lot about how business goes on among different companies. Bruno is related to another company that we will visit in Gothenburg, called Autoadapt. It was cool to see how the two companies relate even though they are on two different continents. Also, I enjoyed having relaxed conversations with Mr. Belson after our tour. He was able to talk to us and answering any final questions we had while we ate lunch.
