The second day!!

Our morning started abruptly. Katie and I had gotten to bed at around 3:45AM, so we didn't get much sleep. It also didn't help that my alarm decided not to go off. We were supposed to be down in the lobby at 10:45... Klayton knocked on our door at 10:46!!!  I've never gotten ready so fast in my life! It was actually pretty impressive. We were down by 11 and even beat Graham and Mike, who were slowpokes.

The next speed bump was that JJ got a bus that was too small. We had 17 people and the bus only fit 16. Mike had to sit on the floor. It was funny. Then we went to a fortress, called Skansen Kronan. It was made to protect Gothenburg from the Danish, who were supposed to attack them but never did.

The fence looked like the front of the titanic :)

I found these in a shop when we were wandering around.
After the fortress, our tour continued through the city. We walked to a couple small shops and then walked to a giant bus that took us farther into and around the city. We went to a fish market (called Feskekorka, or fish church). There were a ton of people and a ton of fish. It was smelly but cool. I want to go back there because they had sushi and I'm sure it would be awesomely fresh and yummy.

Next, we were free to explore until 7. We went to the grocery store, and then store hopped for the rest of the day! We tried to find a cool place to eat, which took a long time.  The cafe we eventually found was really cute. I had tiramisu and a latte macchiato. It was really good. I forgot to take a picture :( but it was really pretty. The next thing we did was get on the tram and let it take us until we just wanted to get off. It was really cool. We shopped and saw really cool things. It was really tiring, though, so we came back to the hostel at about 6 and started blogging and relaxing before dinner. (probably another Italian restaurant)
I gotta go get ready, so I'll blog about the rest of our night later!! See ya, people!
Bananas in the grocery store!
Candy!

After dinner, we ended up going to a cool restaurant as a group. Originally, JJ wanted us to go to an Italian restaurant.  Instead of this, we broke up as a group away from him and went alone.  My dinner was awesome and everyone else agreed with me. I had a sandwich with shrimp, lettuce, and mayo. It was amazing. Then we walked back and hung out as a group.
